  • SASSA has determined that you make more than R624 each month. This means you will not be eligible for the R350 SRD SASSA grant.

  • Employment Status Is Identified : Applicant’s who are employed but earn over the SRD threshold amount are not eligible to receive the SRD Grant.
  • A duplicate application has been detected: When you make multiple submissions for the exact same grant your application is flagged, and it will then be declined.

  2. Find the Navigation Bar at the Top of the Page: The homepage has a navigation bar. From the navigation menu, click on “Banking Details”.
  3. Click on “Add New Banking Details” in the section Banking Details.

    2. IBAN (International Bank account number)
    3. Name as it appears on the bank account
    4. Surname
  5. Send Your details: After entering all of the information required, check it to ensure accuracy. To send SASSA your updated bank account details, click on “Submit”.
  6. SASSA Verification of Bank Account: SASSA verifies your new account by making two deposits into your account. These two deposits can be found on your bank statements. Notate the exact amount.
  7. Verify your bank account: Log in to your SASSA Grant website account and return to the SASSA grant site. To verify your account, enter the amounts for the two deposits.
